IMPORTANT NOTICE |
| Dear Inventor: On September 16, 2011, President Obama signed the “The Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (Patent Reform Act of 2011)” into law. The Inventors Assistance League believes this new law is a setback for small inventors, while giving large corporations the upper hand. Nevertheless, small inventors do have choices that can still be exercised to protect their ideas. First of all, section 35 of this new law provides that it shall not become effective until 1 year after enactment, which is September 16, 2012 (assuming there are no successful challenges to the law). This allows you to use the legal tools we have been teaching for 49 years to protect your ideas until the law goes into effect. Therefore, the sooner you start the process, the more options you have. It cannot be emphasized enough: This is the time to take action with your idea! Although protecting your ideas is very important, you won’t profit from it unless you properly market your ideas to potential manufacturers who may make and distribute them. Please note: The marketing portion of our Home Study Program is virtually unaffected by this new law! Having said all that, you must still be prepared to use the new law. The Inventors Assistance League is working diligently to update our Home Study Program. As a new member, you will receive a free upgrade to the latest edition as soon as it becomes available. The Pre-Patent Protection E-Book (which is below this notice)
contains valuable information based on the laws that are currently
available to you, but you must act quickly before these laws change on
September 16, 2012. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_Invents_Act There is no better time than now to find out if your idea has market value. Read the E-Book; learn about your current legal options; and take advantage of the limited time you have before the new law goes into effect. The Inventors Assistance League |
